Here is my layout for the Blue Fern Studios March Challenge
I used this sketch:
This was my first time using the new Blue Fern paper and it is so nice – nice and heavy and easy to work with.
I cut the lattice from one of the papers and used it as an accent. The Love Letters paper has a lot of cards, tags and works to use in your layering.
Both of the chip board pieces were coated in gesso, then painted with a coating of pigment powder mixed with gel medium. Then I stamped over them.
The heart on the Page Dangle was also embossed.
Blue Fern products used:
Blue Fern Garden Paper – Signature and Love Letters; Chipboard – Flourish and Winter Page Dangles
I loved this gorgeous sketch from Blue Fern Studios
I love playing with texture paste, gel medium and pigment inks. I used tinted texture paste through a stencil on the background paper along with gesso, gelatos, embossing and mists.
You can see the different mediums that make up the background in these pictures below
Blue Fern Chipboard is so great to work with; you can do almost anything to it. Here I inked them first, then embossed, and finally touched them up with some tinted gel medium and a couple microbeads.
I love touching up flowers with gesso, pigment tinted gel medium, beads and glitter.
